Robusta coffee originates from Central and West Africa, particularly the Congo and Uganda regions. Discovered later than Arabica, Robusta began to be widely cultivated in the 19th century due to its resistance to disease and hot climates. It grows at altitudes of 200–800 meters above sea level, with ideal temperatures of 24–30°C, with rainfall of 2,000–3,000 mm/year, and a plant height of around 4.5–6 meters.
